DESCRIPTION:In accordance with our bylaws we will be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 6\, 2023 at 6:30pm at Clearpoint. \n\n\n\nClearpoint Elementary Home and School Association is always in need of volunteers to help with various positions associated with the administration of the association. Please read the list of Executive Officer Positions which are up for election this year HERE.  These roles are pivotal to the smooth running and continued success of H&S. \n\n\n\nSince 2006\, Home and School has played a major role  in our school\, our children\, and the community at large. If you feel you would like to help on the Executive Committee or know of a qualified candidate fill out the official nomination form HERE\, by June 5th\, 2023. You may nominate yourself or another.  All nominees will be contacted to ensure they accept the nomination to office. DESCRIPTION:In accordance with our bylaws we will be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 6\, 2023 at 6:30pm at Clearpoint. \n\n\n\nClearpoint Elementary Home and School Association is always in need of volunteers to help with various positions associated with the administration of the association. Please read the list of Executive Officer Positions which are up for election this year HERE.  These roles are pivotal to the smooth running and continued success of H&S. \n\n\n\nSince 2006\, Home and School has played a major role  in our school\, our children\, and the community at large. If you feel you would like to help on the Executive Committee or know of a qualified candidate fill out the official nomination form HERE\, by June 5th\, 2023. You may nominate yourself or another.  All nominees will be contacted to ensure they accept the nomination to office. Nominations will be kept confidential until June 13th where they will be announced at our regular meeting. \n\n\n\nTo be eligible for nomination person(s) must be current members of the Association in good standing.  According to our bylaws 2 people may share an office.  So if you wish to run as co-officers (example co-Presidents\, co-Secretaries) please fill out 1 nomination form together. \n\n\n\nI look forward to seeing you on Tuesday\, June 6 at 6:30 pm in the Library of Clearpoint Elementary \n\n\n\nAngela DandyPresident\, Clearpoint Elementary H&S Assoc.

DESCRIPTION:The Clearpoint Home & School Association has partnered with Media Smarts\, a Canadian not-for-profit organization for digital and media literacy\, to offer a free online webinar to give Clearpoint parents tips on managing kids’ screen time\, how to keep your kids safe online\, and the importance of setting household internet rules. We hope you can join us for this presentation and discussion! \n\n\n\nKids today are going online at younger ages – which means that parents have to get involved in their digital lives much sooner than they used to. Although you may sometimes feel out of your depth when it comes to technology\, as a parent you have an important role to play in helping your kids safely navigate the online spaces and activities they enjoy. The Explore Digital Parenting workshop offered by MediaSmarts looks at the various activities kids love to do online and offers tips and strategies for everything from Facebook privacy settings\, online shopping\, cyberbullying\, to protecting your computer from viruses.
