SUMMARY:Nominations Open - H&S Executive Elections
DESCRIPTION:In accordance with our bylaws we will be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 6\, 2023 at 6:30pm at Clearpoint. \n\n\n\nClearpoint Elementary Home and School Association is always in need of volunteers to help with various positions associated with the administration of the association. Please read the list of Executive Officer Positions which are up for election this year HERE.  These roles are pivotal to the smooth running and continued success of H&S. \n\n\n\nSince 2006\, Home and School has played a major role  in our school\, our children\, and the community at large. If you feel you would like to help on the Executive Committee or know of a qualified candidate fill out the official nomination form HERE\, by June 5th\, 2023. You may nominate yourself or another.  All nominees will be contacted to ensure they accept the nomination to office. SUMMARY:2022 Clearpoint Holiday Fair - in-person
DESCRIPTION:Come get your holiday shopping done and support local vendors!\n\n\n\nGrade sixers will lead activities for your kids while you shop. You can also buy homemade goodies at the Claus Café\, delicious sandwiches from 3 Soeurs and pizza from Domino’s\, or try your luck with the 50/50 and mega raffles. \n\n\n\nAgain this year\, we will have the popular Kids Only Room\, where children go shopping solo\, and have their purchases gift-wrapped and labeled for them. \n\n\n\nThis event is open to everyone\, including members of the public. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Holiday Fair is only a success with your help and we are looking for the following donations please: \n\n\n\n\nBaked goods for the bake table – may be store bought as well (to be dropped off during school hours Friday\, December 1st\, or from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM that same evening)\nChili for our Clearpoint Chili Off (to be sold at the Claus Café)\, best one wins the title of “Master Chili Chef”.\nNew and gently used items for the Kids Only Room (please see below for a description of the Kids Only Room as well as a list of suggestions). We are also in need of gift wrap\, tags and tape to wrap the items for the children.\nRaffle prizes (companies and individuals who donate prizes will have their logo/name on a sign at the fair and will be featured on the Clearpoint Elementary School Holiday Fair Facebook page). Please see below for a list of suggestions.\n\n\n\n\nYou can start sending the above mentioned items with your children or dropping them off at the school immediately\, unless otherwise indicated. In the main entrance\, you will find boxes marked “Holiday Fair Donations” and we ask you to kindly place your items in these boxes. For items being sent in with your children\, please clearly indicate that they are for “Home & School”. Once bought\, the gifts are wrapped and tagged by volunteers and the children leave having done much of their holiday shopping. \n\n\n\nSuggestions for donations for Kids Only Room: \n\n\n\n\nNew or gently used mugs\, trinkets\, ties\, cufflinks\, photo frames\, jewelry/trinket boxes\, books\, puzzles\, toys for all ages\, baby items\, mommy items\, daddy items\nNew makeup sets\, nail polish sets\, body wash sets\, hand lotion sets\, bubble bath sets\, craft sets\, perfume sets\, cologne sets\, note paper sets\nEtc.\, as the above are just a few suggestions\n\n\n\n\nRaffle Prizes:\n\n\n\nSuggestions for raffle prizes: \n\n\n\n\nGift Cards (for restaurants\, stores\, etc.)\nGift Certificates (for facials\, massages\, haircuts\, photo shoots\, classes\, memberships\, subscriptions\, activities\, etc.)\nEvent Tickets (for sports\, concerts\, circus\, movies\, monster trucks\, museums\, etc.)\nPromotional Items\nToys (such as brand new Lego sets\, brand new board games\, brand new Barbie`s\, brand new art & craft sets\, etc.)\nArtwork & Crafts\nEtc.\, as the above are just a few suggestions\n\n\n\n\nDomino’s Pizza and 3 Seours:\n\n\n\nPlease come hungry to the fair!
